On Friday 17th August, 2018, Fuyuka Matsuzaki from DMM.Kenya visited the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Japan and had the opportunity to meet the Ambassador H.E Mr. Solomon K. Maina.
During the meeting, Fuyuka shared her views on the business climate in Kenya for Japanese companies and introduced Leleshwa wine which is made in Kenya. She also informed that the wine is due to be imported to the Japanese market by DMM.Kenya’s partner, Mikasa Tsusho Ltd. H.E the Ambassador welcomed this venture and noted that it was a good effort towards promoting Kenyan products in Japan.
Leleshwa wine is produced 100% in Kenya, with its creation taking place in Naivasha. Having received the Michelangelo International Wine & Spirits Double Gold Award for their Sauvignon Blanc 2017, Leleshwa is considered one of the most established wine brands from Kenya.
Both the interview of H.E Mr. Solomon K. Maina and introduction of Leleshwa by Ms. Fuyuka will be featured in the “Kanji San wo Daijini Suru Omise” Magazine, due to be published on 21st September 2018.
